Our church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. The full statement of faith of our denomination is the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Below, you will find seven key statements that summarize our overall beliefs as a church.
1. The Bible is totally trustworthy and all we need to live life and honor God through Christ.
2. God is infinite and beyond what we can imagine, yet he remains intimately involved in every aspect of our lives, especially our redemption.
3. God's personal involvement in our lives is multiplied through His eternal existence in three persons.
4. All people sin, are separated from God, and cannot please God on their own.
5. Salvation is God's eternal gift to those who have faith in Jesus Christ alone.
6. The church is a group of people transformed by the Gospel of Christ, gifted through the Holy Spirit, and called to accomplish the Great Commission.
7. God has a plan for the end of the world that we cannot fully understand. If we have trusted in Him, we can have confidence in His promises.
