Whether it's your first time on our site or you're planning your first visit with us, we're glad you're here. We would love for you to join us for one of our worship services, Sunday School, or any other event. We understand that first-time visits can be nerve-racking, so we want to provide you with as much information as possible the first time you attend. Below are some FAQs about our church.
What are worship services like at CBC?
Our worship services are designed to help you connect with God through worship, prayer, and Scripture. Our music is led by a praise team that uses guitars, keyboards, and drums. Our preaching will be honest, Gospel-centered, and grounded in God's Word.
What do I wear?
There is no set attire code at Community Baptist Church. Within our congregation, you may find folks wearing anything from blue jeans and t-shirts to dresses and suits. We encourage each person who worships with us to come as you are.
What about my kids?
We love and welcome your children to be a part of our worship services. During our Sunday School hour at 10:00 AM, classes are available for every age group, from nursery to senior adults. We've provided a list of those classes with their teachers and their location within our Education Building.
During our worship service at 11AM, nursery care is provided in our Education Building, room 105, for children up to 2 years. After our song service in the sanctuary, children from four-years-old to 3rd grade are dismissed to attend Children's Church, which takes place in the Education Building. If you desire, your children are always welcome to remain in the main sanctuary and worship with you and your family.
Are there midweek activities?
Yes! On Tuesdays, we host Celebrate Recovery meetings at our church. For more information about Celebrate Recovery, please click here.
On Wednesdays, we have a family meal in the Fellowship Hall for everyone at 5:30pm. After the meal, Children have activities in the Fellowship Hall and Education Building from 6:30-8pm. Students (6th-12th grade) meet in our Youth Room upstairs in the Education Building from 6:30-8pm. Adults meet in the Sanctuary from 7-8pm for Prayer and Bible Study.
